Auction Payment Terms & Conditions
Effective Immediately – Binding Upon Bid Placement
Welcome to Eastside Estate Liquidation. By placing a bid in any of our auctions, you are
entering into a legally binding agreement and agree to the following terms and
conditions. Please read carefully.
1. Binding Agreement to Purchase
Placing a bid constitutes a contractual commitment to complete your purchase.
If you win an item, you are obligated to pay in full and pick up your item(s) on the
scheduled pick-up date.
Do not bid unless you intend to follow through with the purchase and pick-up
requirements.
2. Pick-Up Policy
Winning bidders are required to:
Pick up items during the scheduled pick-up window listed on the website and
invoice,
OR
Make prior shipping arrangements before the pick-up date.
Note: Loading assistance is not provided. Some items may be located on upper levels
or in outbuildings. You are responsible for bringing any tools or labor necessary for
removal.
3. Missed Pick-Ups & Forfeiture
If you fail to pick up your item(s) within the scheduled window and have not arranged
shipping in advance:
Your item(s) will be considered abandoned and may be resold, donated, or
otherwise disposed of.
No refunds or credits will be issued.
Future bidding privileges may be revoked permanently.
Alternate pick-up times are not guaranteed and may be offered only at our discretion,
with applicable fees.
4. Invoicing & Payment
Invoices are emailed to winning bidders after the auction closes.
Full payment is due by 7:00 PM the day after the auction ends.
If payment is not received by this deadline, items will be forfeited and your
bidding privileges may be revoked.
All invoices include a 15% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax. Tax is waived
only with a valid resale certificate.
5. All Sales Final
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
No refunds, returns, or exchanges.
Expect normal signs of use with antique, vintage, or secondhand items.
Descriptions are made in good faith, but we do not list every flaw.
Working condition of mechanical, electronic, or timekeeping devices is not
guaranteed.
6. Fraudulent Chargebacks
By submitting your payment and placing a bid, you agree to abide by these terms.
Unauthorized credit card chargebacks after failure to pay, pick up, or communicate are
considered a breach of contract. Eastside Estate Liquidation will dispute all such
chargebacks with supporting documentation, including:
Timestamped bid records
Invoice and payment confirmation
Proof of agreement to the terms and conditions
